But since three years it has developed to a great extent and. large educational, cultural, health, agricultural and other developing projects are implemented which has changed the formation of the province totally.

The governor of Maidan Wardak Province who is energetic former diplomat has good relations with local elders and former commanders. He has also good links with international community therefore has received plenty of international support.

He has tried mostly to recognize the real problems of the residents. In this regard different meetings with the local people have been held.

Making the developing three years plan is another important pace for the development of all parts of the province.

In the plan, all problems of the province have been taken into account. And priorities are indicated. Mr. Naeemi the Governor has asked national and international donors to lend hand in implementing the three years plan.

Mr. Naeemi says that the Total budget needed for the future plan is about 91 744 891 US dollars which would be spent in three years.

 He goes ahead and says that if this development plan is implemented, Maidan Wardak will be changed into a glorious province.
